Achievement Awards Night

Tuesday 14th December saw nearly 70 clients, families and carers in attendance for the first ever LSOP Achievement Awards Night.  Staff were overwhelmed with the amount of support for the evening which rewarded clients for their efforts and achievements for the last 6 months at LSOP.  Each program leader awarded their clients with a certificate which included awards for Work Placement, Lap Swimming, Sewing, Cooking, Meals on Wheels deliveries, Courses in the 16 Life Areas, Contract Work, Beauty Shop and Independent Computer Skills. After the formalities nibblies and drinks were served which gave an opportunity for staff to catch up with families and carers about what has been happening in the last 6 months and some directions for next year. A great night was had by all.
